Born in New York City, a former professional photographer and self taught painter. Stenger originally focused on an interest in abstract Landscapes, but later became interested in the works of California expressionists. A lifelong nonconformist, he finds it artistically stifling to stay within a particular style of painting, he prefers to freely express himself without being typecast, but he also feels it's an advantage to his client, by eliminating that "Same Artist Look" throughout the project. from his South Florida Studio, he creates and markets his work to Galleries, Art Consultants, Architects, And Interior Designers, for use in High End Residential, Corporate, And Hospitality Design projects. John also regularly donates his time and paintings towards two causes he feels very deeply about, Animal Rights, and The Homeless, over the years Stenger has spent many Christmas, and Thanksgiving holidays working in area soup kitchens. He also donates paintings to the Make a Wish Foundation, which has led to Celebrities becoming collectors of his work. His paintings and architectural Box's have been exhibited and purchased throughout the Globe, his works can be found in private collections from North America to the Orient.
